TrioMed Wound Dressing
Wound management has recently become more complex because of new insights into wound healing and the increasing need to manage complex wounds inside and outside the hospital. The association of safe broad-spectrum antimicrobials with wound dressing products has helped minimize wound colonization and infection. The TrioMed antimicrobial dressings contain the TrioMed Technologies as the active ingredient and its mode of action makes it a safe and effective alternative for wound bio-burden management.
The TrioMed antimicrobial wound dressings are intended to reduce microbial colonization and infection in wounds by incorporating the TriosynTM technologies into fibers to create two types of dressings:
- A Conventional wound dressing for general and post-surgical applications,
- An Advanced wound dressing for the treatment of chronic wounds.
