Richard Jaffe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Most recently, Mr. Jaffe served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SafeSkin Corporation, the leading global manufacturer of disposable latex gloves for professional healthcare and laboratory workers, which he co-founded in 1988. Under his leadership, the company went public in 1993, was voted Forbes Magazine’s “Best Small Company in America” in 1996, and was purchased by Kimberly-Clark Corporation in 2000. SafeSkin continues today as one of the world’s most trusted healthcare brands.

Pierre Jean Messier, Vice Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer

Mr. Messier is the original inventor of Triosyn® resin, a unique technology designed to fight against microbial threats. He was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Triosyn Corp. Mr. Messier has worked for the last two decades as a researcher and product development specialist in the microbiological and bio-medical fields; since 1989, his work has focused on iodinated resin technology. He is the author of numerous scientific U.S. and International patents.

JF LaRue, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. LaRue oversees the company’s financial operations, including planning and analysis, controllership, internal audit, tax and treasury. In 1998, Mr. LaRue joined Triosyn Corp., a medical device company engaged in the development and application of innovative antimicrobial technologies. Prior to that, he was a partner at Deloitte & Touche.


Bill Nydam is Vice President, Chief Product and Business Development Officer

Mr. Nydam is responsible for developing a portfolio of new products and businesses that utilize the company’s patented Triosyn antimicrobial technology. He has an extensive background in medical devices and related products as well as the healthcare industry, having worked over 25 years in the healthcare industry.


Lynn Detlor, VP Healthcare Business Development

Mr. Detlor is responsible for developing healthcare products and business opportunities for Safe Life Corp. He has more than thirty years of experience in the procurement of products and supplies for the healthcare marketplace. Most recently, Mr. Detlor was the President of Premier Purchasing Partners and was responsible for a combined purchasing volume of 15 Billion dollars annually.

Palmer Ford, VP Business Development

Mr. Ford is responsible for new product and portfolio development utilizing Triosyn® technology focused in non-healthcare applications. Mr. Ford has been in business development for over 25 years having worked at American Hospital Supply, American Healthcare Systems and Pfizer.


Bob Zabaronick, VP, Chief Administrative Officer

Mr. Zabaronick is responsible for the identification, development and implementation of the company’s human resources, IT and facilities strategies in support of the organization’s global objectives. Before joining Safe Life, Mr. Zabaronick founded RZ Business Management, Inc., a consulting firm focused on internal business processes, executive effectiveness and strategic human resources for the software, semiconductor, wireless and information storage industries.


CM Lee, Executive Director of Safe Life Asia Operations

Mr. Lee is responsible for our Asian operations.  Mr. Lee joined the SafeSkin in 1988 as Managing Director of SafeSkin Corporation, Malaysia.   He was responsible for the start-up and expansion of the company’s manufacturing facilities which produced over 6.5 billion gloves annually and won several industry awards. 


Wava Truscott, PhD. VP Scientific Affairs

Dr. Truscott is the former Director of Scientific Affairs and Clinical Education for Kimberly-Clark Health Care, SafeSkin and Baxter Healthcare; where she was responsible for the creation of educational materials in live, recorded and printed format as well as the development of technical services information and participation in medical device standards organizations.


Albert Rego, PhD. VP RA/QA and Scientific Application

Albert Rego, Ph.D., M.B.A., is a scientific consultant to the regulated industries, with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries having worked at Baxter Healthcare, Allergan and Procter & Gamble His areas of specialization are in the national and international regulatory aspects of the scientific testing requirements for chemical, biological and sterilization technologies.
